Phra Ratchaniwet Mrigadayavan—Situated at a distance of 12 km from Hua Hin is located on a breezy seaside was built in the region of Rama VI in the year 1923. Maruekhathaiyawan Palace
Built by King Vajiravudh, this palace is located between Cha-Am and Hua Hin. Maruekhathaiyawan Palace has very interesting tale attached to it. It is said that originally this palace was built in another location but the King was not really happy about it and decided to change its place. The building was demolished and the teak wood was used to construct a new palace. The palace is entirely made from teak wood. This time a convenient location was selected according to which palace was constructed to face its front towards the sea in Cha-Am district. Later, this place was connected to Bangkok by rail. People not only found it extremely beautiful but also healthy in terms of forest and fresh sea air.
